An Edgar A. Poe themed blog today

I recently have been reading Poe, I've always loved his work, (poems, short stories, etc.) and I've noticed how Gothic and delightful it is. Yes, they are dark but me personally I love, and write, dark poems and stories myself. His work always interest me and i adore his creativity and mastery of words. they're like swords from the finest swordsman, or a suite of the finest tailor.

name this quote:"Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore, "Through thy crest be shorn, thou," i said, "art sure no craven , Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore- Tell me what thy lord or lady name on the night's Plutonian shore!"
          Quoth the raven "Nevermore."

word of the day: zante

question twelve: what was the full name of Poe's step father? (hint: Poe got the name "Allan" from his step father)
